About the Show

Last to Leave, First to Arrive is the first student run charity art show hosted on the University of Miami Campus. As a part of the annual Greek Week Philanthropy, the show will take place on February 27th 2019 from 4 pm to 8 pm on the University Lakeside Patio.

Legend states that the Ibis is the last bird to leave ahead of a storm and the first to return thereafter. Through this message we are trying to bring together the diverse community that makes up south Florida to show the world that we as a community can weather any storm.

All fundraising efforts will go directly sexual assault awareness, prevention and education. Funds will be donated equally to It's On Us national chapter, It's On Us at the University of Miami, and Kristi House.

All pieces exhibited at the show will artistically depict the ibis bird or Sebastian the Ibis. 100% of all sales of ibis artwork will be donated directly to our three causes.

Thanks to the hard work of the Greek Week Executive Board, Rebecca Neunuebel (alumni & event manager) and Beau Bradbury (event curator), we are able to host this event. Please support our fundraising efforts and local artists!
